The well wishes and moral support given to staff, students and our families have helped us enormously during this difficult time. It is these kind thoughts that have enabled us to pick up the pieces and plan ahead. Mitchelton State High School's resources will be updated and replaced for our students with as little disruption as possible. Thank you sincerely for your generous support and the donation of $500 to us recently after our devastating fires. This was immensely appreciated. John Fitzgerald On behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation we would like to thank you for supporting the Local Government Managers Australia Mow-A-CEO fundraiser at the Queensland Conference on 29 October 2004. The event was a great success, raising $15,000 to assist the Make-A-Wish Foundation grant the wishes of children with a life threatening illness. Your kind spirit in supporting the day was greatly appreciated by all involved. Wish granting provides hope and joy, adding to a child's quality of life by making their dreams a reality. It provides a memorable and enjoyable experience at a time when not only the child, but their family and community is experiencing pain. The emphasis is on creating magic, laughter, and life-long memories for the whole family. Today, we are the largest wish-granting organisation in Australia. In 2005 Make-A-Wish celebrates its 20th anniversary of wish granting in Australia. The aim for this milestone year is to make wishes come true for a record 640 children with lifethreatening illnesses. Our aim at Make-A-Wish is to provide all Australians the opportunity to share the power of a wish and we thank you for sharing in this. With support like yours, wishes really do come true! M.B. Now our plan is in place we can see our future looking better This is our testimonial to iPlan, who have set my wife and I on our way to financial freedom. Our story starts several years ago, when we realised we needed financial help (which meant starting to plan for our future). During this period we met with several financial advisers. The only problem being they never really made us feel comfortable or showed that much concern for us. So as many other people we put it in the too hard basket and forgot about it. It was not till years later that our accountant whom we had been going to for years and have great trust in could see that we have tried to plan for our future. We were amazed when they said if that is how you feel, we can put the plan on hold for two years and waiver the fees. We thought what other company would put us before their fees, we stayed for quite a while talking, and we are very thankful to them for restoring our faith in what we had to do. Now our plan is in place we can see our future looking better. Our life is easier as our finance is planned out for us; we know what is ours. Best of all no more credit cards.
